Set up Pixelmon in three steps
- Create an account and pick a plan. For Pixelmon we recommend Standard (4 GB RAM).
- Create a server, choose "Modpack", search for The Pixelmon Modpack and click install. We set up NeoForge, the mods and the configs.
- Send your friends the share link. It tells them which pack version to install and the address to join.

Questions about Pixelmon servers
How much RAM does a Pixelmon server need?
We recommend the Standard plan (4 GB RAM) for Pixelmon with a small group of friends. Bigger groups or many extra mods need more.
How do my friends join my Pixelmon server?
They install the same pack version in their launcher (for example Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or CurseForge app). Your server's share page shows the exact version and a download link. Then they add your server address under Multiplayer.
Can I add more mods to Pixelmon?
Yes. Upload mods into the mods folder with the file manager and restart. Your friends need the same mods on their side.
Which version of The Pixelmon Modpack do you install?
The newest one by default. When you create the server you can also choose an older version, so it matches what your friends have.
